Birthday Fat Quarter Swap...

When we went to Nundle to GDITC...we were all so keen to stay in touch with each other that the lovely Chookyblue organized a "Birthday Swap" amongst us....16 are participating and what we do is sent two fat quarters to the birthday girl....so this weekend is the first of the birthdays and can you believe it we have four birthdays in two days....on Saturday we have Kerry and June and on Sunday we have Dale and Helen.....these are my little gifts, I only had to send two in the post as Dale and June live in town....now how much fun is this going to be...receiving 32 fat quarters for your birthday..........enjoy your day....

  1. It is a really lovely idea - I love our swap Maree has organized and hope we do it every year with the special people we have got to know this year! Dale's from me is in the mail, so hope it reaches her by Monday at least!

  2. lots of fun Peg. I was in a birthday FQ swap a few years ago and it was so fun as they all arrived. Some are so precious I still haven't cut into them!

  3. guess what Peg there are 19 not 16.........lol.......so even more lovelyness......it has been so nice getting fabrics for the girls on the weekend esp since we all know each other........and yes what a huge bang we started with........

  5. Birthday FQ's swaps are fun. I've belonged to one group for several years and it's always fun to open so many prezzies on your birthday.

    Some quilter overhere organized the same happening. Her birthday was the first. She received all the fat quarters, but nobody ever received any fat quarter from her... LOL!
