Storm.....and hail

Last night we had a hail storm, thought I would share a few photos with you, thank goodness the hail was not too big, so hopefully there was no damage done......we have a tin roof on our home (lots of Australian homes have tin on their roof) and the noise as the hail was hitting the roof, I was in the shower when it started it was light an elephant was running on the roof...hope everyone gets a chance to do a little stitching today.

  1. The sound is deafening on a tin roof isn't it? I hope the hail and rain bring some cool weather for you today....it is going to be 38 here today.....a day in the air con. sewing I think!

  8. We were expecting the hail too Peg but it didn't make it, just a bit of rain. Love what you've been making lately and receiving.

  10. It must be wonderful to hear rain hitting the tin roof! But hail? Yikes!
We're both getting white stuff then -- you hail, me snow. I'd rather have your weather, thanks. Next week is going to be unbelievably cold -- temps with wind chills of -23 or lower. Yuck!

  11. I'm getting snow and ice. Not a fan of either but I'd rather have the snow. Ice is nasty and dangerous stuff.
