Our group "Club Quilt" met on Sunday and this was my project for the day....made from two charm packs, green strip used as a peeper which will also be the bind and a 6.5 inch border...made from Moda - Za Za - definitely not my normal choice of fabric, but I think it is 'happy'.... Peg ... :>) ...
Cheerful quilttop Peg! It’s good to step out of the comfort zone of your favourite colours some times. I can picture a quilt from the Zaza fabrics in the blue and the brown/ochres and some white.
Always a good idea to step outside the box, when it comes to our colour choices. I think it's a very happy looking quilt. Is your peeper stitched to both edges or is more like a piping?
The charm pack quilt is very pretty.

ReplyDeleteIt's a very happy quilt! I love the border fabric, too. Sometimes we need to sew with fabrics and colors that are outside our usual circle.
