Help please!!!!!

I started these stitcheries a while ago..."Candlelight Creations"...9 blocks in the quilt, and I think the quilt was called "Beyond the Garden Gate", it was a block of the month done with Honeysuckle Cottage....I am not keen to actually do it as a quilt any more, I love the stitchereis but not that keen on the quilt design.. so I was thinking that I might just turn these 4 blocks into a wall hanging...has any one any other ideas of what to do with these four blocks, would love to hear what you think????....

  1. I think they would look great framed. Have you given that a thought? or in a wall long hanging. Like in Natalie Birds new book where she has 3 stitcheries. You have done a beautiful job with them. Look forward to seeing what you end up doing.

  2. Oh, I must agree that framing is a terrific idea. Little pillows are also sweet (it's hard to tell how large the blocks are - maybe sachets?)

  3. Framing would be sweet, or perhaps just as a small wall hanging. If you have more of the designs, how about one more to make five and have one in the middle and the other four surrounding it.

  4. Hi :o)

What about making it into a wall hanging - the four blocks beneath each other like in this post? Just add some fabric as a border in between these lovely sitcheries :o)

    Good luck :o)

  5. I'm with Butterfly, I was thinking they would look nice trailing down the wall with small fabric joining them as a border. They are too nice to just have in the cupboard.
They could then double as a table runner? So nice you asking us for help when I rely on you so much.

  6. They look really lovely. A wall hanging ,one under the other would be a good way to show them.

  7. You could still finish off the stitcheries and set them into a quilt in amongst some blocks in your favourite designs.

  9. I think framing them is a wonderful idea! That is if you have space to hang them!

  13. I think they would look nice either framed and hanging as you show them, or a wallhanging with one under the other like you show. They are so beautiful.

  14. I think you could make two very pretty bags out of them. I love the look of some of those bags with the stitchery on the sides. Just thought I would throw out a different idea :))) They are lovely blocks.

  15. Other than making wall hangings or frame these stitcheries, you could make totes, toiletry bags and purses.
You could also make table runners with stitcheries in each end.

  16. Somewhere I saw a picture of a delightful little baby quilt with a few stitched blocks randomly placed among the pieced blocks. These would be lovely! They are lovely alone too - so I agree, framed would be nice too.

  17. The stitchery patterns are lovely. Are they still available somewhere? Or would you be willing to share them if they are not?
