Pyramid Purse….at the craft show we decided to do a couple of workshops…One was this purse with Studio Mio….
Really enjoyed the workshop, the first one was the one I made at the workshop and the other one I made last weekend…

I was trying to daydream, but my mind kept wandering.
The FIS paper bag swap…I had the pleasure of creating a little something for Vic with the goodies she sent me (stitchery, fabric, buttons, ric rac)…and this is what I made…
and I was also lucky enough to meet and deliver my parcel to Vic in person (this lady is also totally awesome..)

Another tool I purchased from Pauline…a slash cutter……I also used my chenille brush…..
I only used scarp fabric for this project as I wanted to just ‘play’…….after joining my fabrics I realized the green spot was a poly not a cotton, and the chenille was not as good as I hoped but it was an experiment and I will use the bag to hold some bits and pieces in my sewing room, the gap between the sashing was too big as well, lots of room for improvement…....….….but it did show me what could be done and that’s what I was after…

Last Tuesday night the ladies from Club Quilt had a treat, we had the lovely Pauline and he DH Rob come to Narromine to share with us there travelling Quilters World…..Dale and I also caught up with Pauline at the Sydney Craft Show, we were very impressed …..I think all our ladies were very happy with what Pauline had to share with us…
(if you are part of a quilting group look into Pauline coming for a visit, she is amazing…)…
This is one of the tools I purchased (I did buy a few so i do have a bit of show and tell to share with you over the next few days)…this is a Chenille brush and on the weekend I made this little blanket for one little man Tarj…….Pauline has some amazing tools which she sells online….
Tarj and his shaggy quilt and Ollie looking very jealous…..I am happy with the shaggy look…!!!
(the quilt has not been washed at all, this look was achieved with the brush)…

FIS…our online stitching group…we have several swaps thru the year….our last swap was a ‘paper bag’ swap…the first photos is what I sent to Jen, and just check out what she created for me…..this amazing thread holder!!!!!
Yep I was totally blown away…..thanks Jen my holder is just perfect…xxx….(This lady is totally awesome, I was so lucky to be able to thank her in person)

I have been chatting to Pam online for a while now…..and it just so happened that we were both going to the craft show…..so of course we had to meet…which was just so wonderful….but not only did I meet her, have a cuppa and a chat, Pam also gave me this gorgeous gift …..just love the cup but the rug mug, is extra special, as this is the first one Pam has made….so it will be cherished…..I was so touched, thankyou Pam…xxxx
