One more finish……a very simple table runner….this was to be a cushion, but I changed  my mind……..that’s the best part about sewing…you can change it if you want…LOL

Tuesday Treasures….I know they look like dirty bits of rag…but they are treasures to me……these three works of art were done by each of my boys….this was there first piece of sewing and I think they did them when they were in Kindy…..they always sat on my desk at work…. about 12 months I bought them home and they now live on my sewing cabinet….I think the boys have inherited my sewing skills…….LOL….

I am sure Clare will have lots more treasures on show…so please pop over and have a look…

Ollie has his new quilt……..these panels are a great thing to practice free motion quilting on…..a few dodgy  spots in the quilting but I know Ollie won’t mind at all…LOL…..

Weekend nearly over….

Sunday afternoon again…..yesterday we had a family gathering… we were celebrating my MIL’s 80th Birthday….my DH is one of 6 children…so when we all get together there are quite a few of us….it was a most enjoyable day and it is always nice to catch up with family and I think MIL had a lovely day…..Today I needed to do a few domestics and then a little bit of time was spent in my sewing room…these are two of the projects I have been working on….

I have prepared a few more block for my “Life Is Beautiful Quilt”…..gee, I wish I could get just a few more hours in each day….here it is Thursday again and in another week the month will be over…..We are having such wonderful weather at the moment I hope it hangs around for the weekend….you know the drill…have a fab day….

I forgot to show you this….another purchase from our Cobar road trip….a panel, I ‘m going to make this up for my boy “Ollie” (our black spoodle) I think he will love this as a new blanket…….LOL…

Tuesday Treasures which has been going for several weeks now, and is hosted by the lovely Clare…… first off I must apologize, I think I should have done some dusting before I took these photos….LOL…..this is my collection of ‘depression glass’, I just love this old stuff…..I have been collecting the glass for about 8 years I guess….if this glass could talk imagine what it could tell us….

My Road Trip Purchases….

No will power when this little kit was calling me…..(I know I said the kit word…LOL…)

Now how could I say no to this…….all I could see here was a table runner….

This was also saying table runner with some stitcheries…

And these were “just because”…..

And these are the fabrics which were my little gift from Colleen…. all the girls received lovely bundles as well….once again thankyou Colleen.

And how could I not make a purchase from the the gorgeous Jodie ….“Jellywares on Marshall”……..…..buttons, cards, and bag handles…..
So ‘will power’ went put the door on Saturday, but I am now back in detox….LOL….

We are all at the local pub waiting for lunch (most enjoyable meal….)

A few doors away from the Cobar Quilt Shop is the lovely “Jellywares” Shop….(fantastic little shop, well done Jode)….it has been nearly 3 years since we have seen Jodie, (the first GDITC in Nundle) so it was just so nice to catch up.

and here is Kerry, Jellywares (Jodie, how cute is she) and me….

Yesterday 14 of our Club Quilt ladies headed off to Cobar, which is a 2.5 hour drive west….to a lovely little quilting shop …Cobar Quilt Shop…. Colleen and her girls greeted us with morning tea, a shop filled with lots of goodies, heaps of inspiration and specials, and when we left a bag of goodies was given to Carol to share amongst the group (which was filled with fabric),  a gift from Colleen, so very generous, thanks Colleen…  …..Colleen offers a great mail ordering service as well…it was a fantastic day and the perfect way to spend a Saturday….a great big thankyou to Carol for organizing our road trip to Cobar……and to my 13 travel companions thank you so much for an awesome day….
