Decided on the UFO

Tomorrow at Club Quilt I have decided to do a UFO...these blocks I am ashamed to say I did quite a few years ago...but it is time to finish this little baby off....this one is called "Sweet Dreams"...hopefully tomorrow I will have it together....

Above is another of those kits I have lying around this one is called "Remember When"...purchased at Cottage On The Hill.....what a day today has been, have achieved heaps, but not as much as I would have liked....still a few hours left though....

Treats in the post.....this is my PIF Christine...check it out....I am just so excited...it is totally awesome...I admired a sneak peak of this on Christine's blog a little while ago...and it was for me.....I love it I love it....I have just the spot for this gorgeous table runner.....Christine thankyou so very much I feel very spoilt...the fabrics used"Dandelion Girl"..Figtree.....yes they are Moda.....how lucky am I.....what a great week I have had...

Number two block is completed this is part of the free BOM ...A Tisket A Tasket....by Bunny Hills another will be coming out next week......here it is Wednesday again, I need to be think about what I am going to do this weekend, we have "Club Quilt" this weekend....do I start a new project...or should I find something that needs to be completed ....new ..UFO ...new ...UFO ...new ...UFO ...

Very rarely I am speechless...but this morning I was...my lovely delivery lady delivered a parcel to me at work...thinking it was something for our Sanity Savers....but oh no it wasn't...it was for me and it was from Nicolette...who unfortunatley is not blogging at the moment...Nicolette has truly touched my heart with this very generous gift...but what she had written in the card, now that, actually bought tears to my eyes....you are beautiful Nicolette.....

We are AUSTRALIAN....

National Mourning Day Ceremony was held today.....for all our bushfire victims, the ceremony was televised on TV...it was just so moving....several video clips can be seen here.. see here..... Please take a minute and listen to the words of "We Are Australian"

Today's project....made from the pinks I showed you the other day.... this is for......????!!!!!XXXXX??????, so far so good, today was my first bash ever at prairie points, and they look not too bad, (even if I say so myself), I actually enjoyed doing these.....still a little more work to do....hope to get a photo of another one of my kits later on...enjoy your day...

The oldest one ...I think...

I think this may be the oldest kit I have at home.....could be 5 years or more ..."Gardeners Journal"....purchased at Cottage On The Hill....the lovely Kerry makes up the best kits.....I must be honest I actually forgot I had this one...I usually know exactly what I have, but not this time...Friday, where did this week go?

True Confessions....

I..."Happy In Quilting" have a problem....not a bad one, but it is one....

I love fabric...I love kits....now when I buy kits I have the best intention of making them up....but do I....no....I look at them instead, I have this little stash in my sewing room that is getting bigger and bigger....so why don't I make them up...they look so nice in their packaging....but I think this year...no more, this must finish....so I thought I might share with you over the next few days some of my "stash"....this one is "Fresh Cut"...Heather Bailey which I purchased thru Cottage On the Hill...yes a couple of years ago...I have been looking at it for that long....OK....has anyone else out there with a similar problem..?? ..now you must be honest.....

Only a few weeks left...

This weekend I hope to complete this little project I am working on, it needs to be completed by the end of the month....ssshhhhhh, its a secret....wish me luck this is a little out of my normal square.......but I will give it my best.....have a great day....

PIF and green glass....

PIF 2009....I actually have 5 ladies this year..... Beth Linda Cathi Terry Andrea (Andrea was looking for another person, so, if you would like to join in please pop over to her blog)...I need to put my thinking cap on to come up with some interesting projects to make for these ladies....

I received a gift the other day from Vanessa...(who has just become a Nanna for the very first time, a grandson how blessed is she)...I received some more gorgeous green glass...have I told you guys ye,t how blessed I am, well I reckon I am just one of the luckiest people to have such special people in my life........Vanessa thank you so much these pieces will be cherished.....

Bushfire victims....

Yesterday at Club Quilt I made a few blocks to send to Tracey from Oz Country Quilting Mum ... she is collecting blocks, which will be made into quilts for the Victorian Bush Fire victims...if you would like to help out please pop over and check out her blog.....very overcast day today looks like we could get a storm any minute.....
