Capricorn Quilts BOM...my version anyway, I only did 12 blocks, is now completed...thanks again Bea it was so much fun doing these...look forward to the new one starting in 2009...(tomorrow)...I am going to hang this one from my Dads walking stick (my Dad passed away 15 years ago)....I am having a small problem with blogger, well I think its blogger, I am not receiving the comments made on my blog, they are not coming thru to my email, so I am very sorry for not responding as I try to answer all my emails....is any one else having the same problem?...the countdown is on.....2009 only a few hours away.....

Gift for a friend...

"Christmas Heat Project" which was a free pattern from the most generous May Britt....May Britt also designed this drawstring bag with the "Stitchers Angels" group earlier this year (thank you so much May Britt for both of these projects) ........this has been made for a special friend.....looks like it will be another warm day......happy stitching....

Bag for baby Eva.

Before the bag was washed...



A work mate and his girlfriend have just had a baby girl....so I have made this nappy bag for them....nice and simple, shaggy, a couple of buttons and that's it.........have a great day, very hot here in downtown Narromine.

This is the quilt I sent to my SSCS partner - Paula - I also included a few Aussie treats as well but forgot to take a photo of these....I enjoyed making this for Paula........Thanks so much again Chooky for organizing such a fantastic swap....look forward to next year....

A little bit of sewing

Sunday already back to work tomorrow for three days and then another 4 days off....time to pull the sewing machine out, I feel I am having some withdrawals.....I have put together the Capricorn Quilt BOM....the quilting is done, all I need to do is sew down the bind....I have made mine into a wall hanging.....I would like to thank Bea from Capricorn Quilts for this fantastic BOM....it was so much fun doing all the stitcheries......it was very generous of Bea to present this to us each month....... enjoy your day.

SSCS....

Look what I got....how lucky am I.....these are my gifts from my SSCS partner.....Jeanne...I was so very good and saved my parcel until Christmas Day.......Jeanne I was blown away when I opened my prezzie....so much work, and no it was not wrinkled at all Jeanne it was just perfect.......I just them all, thank you so very much Jeanne for my gorgeous gifts...and to the lovely Chooky, how special are you.....once again a fantastic job, three cheers to you......you are an amazing lady.....luv ya heaps Chooky.

So much to do so little time to do it in......two more Christmas wall hangings in our home.....can you believe it, for us way down here it is Christmas Day tomorrow...

What a life I have......At our "Club Quilt" Christmas Party the girls touched my heart with this gorgeous gift....I collect green depression glass and the girls (headed by the precious Gai P) found these amazing treats for me.....I am just so blessed to have all these amazing ladies in my life from the bottom of my heart "Club Quilters", thankyou so very much...."

My gift from our Christmas Party was made by Gail....this gorgeous cushion and these ever so yummy handmade Apricot Almond Truffles (checkout the packaging)...I was just blown away....Gail thank you so very much, the cushion will be treasured and the truffles, these are all mine, no sharing with anyone, my son and his girlfriend arrived yesterday, and can you imagine they thought they were going to get some, boy were they wrong.........5 sleeps.....5 sleeps.........getting closer
