A bit of quilting…

IMG_2826

Yesterday I started quilting a top I had made a few years back….it was a Jelly Roll quilt….this is going to be donated to Chookys Appeal

Hope you are all having a lovely day….I am having a day off today, my darling number two son, which is number one twin, and his gorgeous girlfriend have come home for a couple of days, they go back tomorrow….

…..and my little offsider at work is going on holidays so I have to wear the two hat thing again…

Remember you can still sign up for OPAM….here

And on a final note, I would like to say, my heart goes out to all those who have been affected by these horrific floods….

Take care everyone, please keep safe

Peg

  4. How lovely of you to donate your quilt - I am waiting for one to come back so I can finish it off. As if the fires weren't enough - now its floods again - and in the same places as 2011 for Brisbane.

  9. First off I want to say terrific blog! I had a quick
question in which I'd like to ask if you don't mind.

I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing.

I've had a hard time clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out there. I do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips? Appreciate it!
