My DH is working…..so the boys (Ollie and Tarj) and I are in the sewing room…..we have been so lucky with our weather but the hot stuff has arrived…yesterday must have been close to 40 and it looks like it will be the same today, so the only spot to be is inside with the air con going….

These are a few projects I am and have been working on over the past couple of days….

Happy Sunday

Take care Peg….:>)….

In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out.  It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being.  We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.

  1. lovely work as always Peg. Love the Cake shop and pink polka dots. It is actually NOT raining here now, but very muggy and grey so there is more about. Keeping the temps down though. Good you have an air con, 40 is HOT!

  6. Hey Peg! Wow! Two days into the new year and already you're powering on all eight stitching cylindars! Tee! Hee! Hee! LOVE the Rural Jardin project and those cupcakes look good enough to eat. Can't wait to see the finished projects ... I'm sure they'll be as "Super" as you are! :0) Finally having some summery weather here, though building up for more rain, I think, so enjoying the warmth and sun while it's here. Hope you and 'the boys' have a fun day! Bear Hugs! KRIS

  7. You have been very productive in your sewing room. Lovely work as always. I was just looking at your quilting and noticed no pins. Do you use iron on batting or spray baste or just no pins in your photos?

  12. Hey Peg, a big Happy New Year to you. Your work is just beautiful.
I always enjoy taking a peek at what you are up to. Isnt Hazel just a little bit tired from all the work she has been doing? If I am a good girl DH has promised me a new overlocker for my birthday. I have been looking at a Babylock 8 thread with auto threader. Hae you heard anything about them?
    Biggest of hugs Shelley.

  15. Hello Peg,

I found your blog weaving thru 2 other ones. I love the idea of finishing a project a month!! I just finished a quilt by going to Pat Sloan's UFO weekend Luau. It was such great motivation to be able to share the unfinished and finished. I would've emailed you personally but couldn't find on your blog where to do that. I would like to do something similar to what you have done with your OPAM maybe thru my blog (if it is okay with you). thanks!
