Surprises

IMG_2788 IMG_2784 IMG_2786

What a lovely day……I had a email from Janice this week saying she was coming thru Narromine…and could we catch up…Janice and I had never met, but with bloggers and quilters this really means nothing…… ….so of course I as thrilled to catch up with her and her DH….they are on their way to WA…I explained to Janice that Dale also a blogger, a great mate and lived next door to me would be keen to come along as well….so we decided to meet at the Imperial Stay (coffee shop in town)….so while we were sitting and chatting a young fellow walked in and it was my son Luke, who came home early to surprise his mummy……so here is Luke and I……Dale, Janice (in the middle) and me….and Janice and Mike heading off on their trip, I wish them safe travels and we did have such a lovely hour chatting over a cuppa, and you are right we did not draw breath…..hugs to you Janice, so pleased you emailed me…..how good are bloggers…

Take Care….Peg…..:>)

What an exciting day! Chatting at the pub with Janice, Mick and Dale; then to spot Luke!
I knew Janice was heading your way today and she was sooo excited! She is on her way to visit another blogger too.....
Guess you didn't get much stitching done!

Well that was a surprise! Hehe, I knew Janice was planning to meet up with you. She and Mick are lovely people, I met them both last year while they were here on the island. Can't wait to meet up again next year. Looks like you folks had a good time too.

its so exciting to meet a real person that previously you have only 'talked' to online! I met my dear friend from PA at the Festival of quilts in Birmingham England. We have stayed in each other's houses and supported each other through life's troubles ever since!

Peg, you are going to have a ball!! I am reporting in for the OPAM challenge...whew!! Just squeaked in with my one project!! Thanks so much for sponsoring this...as you can see I am not a prolific quilter so this forces me to 'get'er done!!"
When I finish my Wool Crazy Quilt there will be dancing in the street!! Have a wonderful weekend!!
Take care!

It was just lovely meeting you and Dale. Mick and I had a great day yesterday meeting both of you as well as Jodie. They say good things come in threes. It is a lovely photo of you and Luke. You were both just beaming when you saw each other.
